All of my guitars have exotic wood veneers on the head and tail stock or pictures done in marquetry using veneers.
All of my cigar box guitars have an angled headstock. I don't like it when the headstock is parallel to the fretboard and then a screw is driven into the headstock to keep tension on the strings. Almost seems like an after thought.
I use half moon fret markers on most of my guitars. Great visibility from the side and the front.
All of my guitars have several coats of Danish oil on the neck. The necks are nicely shaped so your hand will slide easily and quickly up and down the neck.

I put a heel on my guitars as the neck goes into the box. This adds extra strength to the neck and feels more comfortable when holding the neck at the body. That double thickness goes all of the way through the box.
My initials go on the neck of all of my guitars. Again this is done in marquetry. I am proud of what I build.
A slight pocket is machined in the neck under the lid of the box.
This pocket helps the lid vibrate more when played than if it was sitting directly on the neck itself. Which means more volume.
The piezo pickup is placed under the lid in this pocket.

I'll normally use beer caps for volume knobs. This time I used a knob from an amp.
A threaded rod seated in a wooden cradle makes up the bridge. This is fastened in place to prevent it from moving while shredding.
Metal grommets in the tailstock keep the strings from cutting into the tailstock.
There's a strap connector in the end of the tailstock.
